The specially slit nib creates a \'double cross\' at the tip surface which is then ground and polished to perfection. Depending on the angle of writing this nib can write broad, double broad, and also triple broad in addition to fine to medium when reversed. There is no tab affixed to this nib. When viewed from the side this nib section looks like the Eagles Head. Ink flow is exceptional
