- The reminder-function can be set by a press-button which, when depressed, allows the crown to shift outwards. When the crown is turned, a small disc – the centre part of the dial – begins to rotate. The time at which the alarm is set is indicated by a small stylized «V» for Vulcain on this disc which is hardly distinguishable from the rest of the dial. This ensures that the display is as discreet as the reminder-signal itself
